Founded in 1526 in Gardone Val Trompia (Brescia) by the Beretta family, which has now been running the company for 15 generations, Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta is today an international manufacturer of firearms for civilian and military use and products designed for outdoor sports such as hunting, sport shooting and tactical shooting.
Beretta operates worldwide in support of outdoor enthusiasts, personal defence and law enforcement agencies, providing them with a complete ecosystem (firearms, clothing, accessories and services) and equipping itself with the most advanced technologies, assembly lines, quality control and highly qualified local workers. All this while continuing to hand down the Italian tradition of gunsmithing since the Renaissance.
Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta is part of Beretta Holding, based in Luxembourg, created on 22 December 1994 to manage the development and strategic coordination of the world's oldest industrial dynasty.
Thanks to its commitment and international vision, the Group now boasts a turnover of €1.5 billion and over 6 thousand employees following the acquisition, in August 2022, of the European giant Ruag Ammotec, a leader in the production and distribution of light ammunition. The following brands are part of the Group: Steiner, Sako, Tikka, Burris, Benelli, Franchi, Uberti, Stoeger, Chapuis, Holland&Holland and Centanex, SwissP, Norma, RWS and MFS.
