Women's Skeet
In the cold and windy Cairo weather, Team Beretta dominated the Women's Skeet with an extraordinary hat-trick: the USA's Samantha Simonton, Italy's Martina Maruzzo and Qatar's Reem Al-Sharshani shone on the podium.
Simonton won her fifth ISSF medal with a stellar score of 50, while Maruzzo took a well-deserved silver with 47 points. Al-Sharshani, with a score of 37, took home bronze, completing a memorable podium for Beretta.
Men's Trap
In the Men's Trap, victory was taken by the formidable Alberto Fernández, followed by Diego Valeri. The Spanish champion once again showed his extraordinary skill, taking gold thanks to several perfect scores in various shooting rounds. Valeri, with his determination, turned the tension of his debut into an excellent performance, gaining valuable experience for future competitions.
Women's Trap
The satisfactions for Team Beretta did not stop there. In the Women's Trap, Fátima Gálvez started the year on the right foot, winning a splendid silver medal and maintaining the level of excellence that characterised her in 2023. San Marino's Alessandra Perilli also shone, taking third place with a score of 32/40 and completing another successful podium for Beretta.

Only a week after the first stage of the World Cup in Cairo, the shooting world gathered again in Morocco to face a new and exciting challenge. In this fascinating setting, the best shooters gathered to compete and demonstrate their skills in a series of high-intensity competitions. The competition attracted athletes from all over the world, who competed for the podium and provided moments of great spectacle. With the pressure and adrenaline sky-high, each participant gave their all to excel and bring home a renowned victory, thus contributing to the prestige of shooting at international level.
Beretta shines again in the Skeet
In the Moroccan city Tammaro Cassandro delivered a textbook performance, dominating with a stellar score. In a final of the highest level, Cassandro beat three-time champion Vincent Hancock, who climbed the rankings with an outstanding performance, earning silver.
Beretta hat-trick in the Women's Skeet
In the Women's Skeet competition, Team Beretta achieved an extraordinary hat-trick. Italy's Simona Scocchetti triumphed with a score of 54 in the final, after an excellent qualification. Behind her, Martina Maruzzo took silver with 52 points, while France's Lucie Anastassiou completed the podium with a score of 41.
Gold for De Filippis in the Men's Trap
Mauro De Filippis inaugurated his 2024 season with an outstanding performance, winning gold in the Men's Trap despite difficult weather conditions at the World Cup in Rabat. The temperature fluctuations did not prevent the Taranto man from taking first place on the podium.
Successes in Women's Trap
Beretta also celebrated great success in the Women's Trap. Vice-world champion Jessica Rossi struck gold in her first outing of the season, finishing with a score of 42/50. San Marino's Alessandra Perilli followed with an excellent score of 39/50, earning a well-deserved silver medal.

Few but substantial successes for Team Beretta
In the final of the shooting competition, Team Beretta achieved significant results: Mauro De Filippis took second place in the Men's Trap, demonstrating great determination and skill. The Italian earned silver with a score of 45/50, committing only five errors in a tight final battle for the top two positions.
Lonato
From May 16th to May 26th, Italy hosted the final stage of the ISSF 2024 World Cup, bringing together the top shooters. The event saw competitions of the highest level, with athletes giving their all to achieve a coveted qualification. This final event provided moments of great intensity and spectacle, confirming the excellence of Italian and international shooting.
Women's Skeet
Italian Diana Bacosi shone as she won the gold medal in the Women's Skeet, replicating her success of five years ago. With an impressive score of 56/60, Bacosi once again demonstrated her excellence. France's Lucie Anastassiou took silver with a score of 51, climbing onto the second step of the podium.
Men's Trap
Spanish shooter Alberto Fernández hit the jackpot by proclaiming himself European champion in the Olympic trench in Lonato and securing another Olympic quota for Spain.
Mixed Trap
Italy prevailed with the Italian pair composed of Silvana Maria Stanco and Mauro De Filippis, who overturned the result of the qualification to win the gold medal. The San Marino pair of Alessandra Perilli and Gianmarco Berti climbed on the third step, completing a very prestigious podium.

Spanish fencer Fátima Gálvez added another great success to her career, proclaiming herself European Women's Trap Champion.
