All the sturdiness and reliability of a steel receiver, but with an extremely low weight: the most modern engineering techniques have made it possible to skeletonize this element, reducing it to only the structural elements that are fundamental for robustness, safety and performance. The Extralight® recoil pad is 30% lighter than a standard one, but is much more resistant to abrasion, ageing and atmospheric agents. The increase in the stock cavity, the removal of the side ribs on the Steelium Optimabore HP barrels, the trigger guard and the aluminum forend iron system contribute to the record reduction of 404 grams compared to a standard shotgun.

Innovative design

The unmistakable design of Beretta over-and-under shotguns, with their trapezoidal shoulders and the double conical locking system of the 690 platform, remains an icon of elegance in the hunting world.
The special technopolymer inserts with micro-textured inclined surfaces, combined with polished hinge pins, evoke a floral engraving that disappears and reappears when the shotgun is rotated under the light.
Available in the original total black look, with a blued receiver and black side plates, or in the more classic silver version, featuring a Nistan-finished receiver and PVD-treated inserts.

Maximum Control

Thanks to the innovative Kick-Off® Plus technology, recoil is reduced by up to 40%, improving shooting comfort and the stability of the second shot.

The combination of the perfect balance of the 690 platform and the excellent ballistic performance of the Steelium® barrels ensures smoothness and precision, while the elastomer shock absorber system and return springs – for the first time mounted on an over-and-under shotgun – minimize muzzle rise and help maintain the sightline between shots.
