I read the review stating these are black and brown. They are. I wanted to cerekote them but was not sure if I could due to the unknown nature of the material they are made of. I was unsure if I could sand blast them for paint. I wanted all black too. However, I cerekoted the frame of my pistol OD green and these grips actually worked out, as is, with the green on the frame. There is no way to post a picture or I would. Not too bad looking. These grips do feel fatter than standard grips though. If you have small hands you might rethink them.
Just so you know
I was hesitant to order these due to the reviews, and there not being any pictures of the actual grips on the firearm. Despite that I decided to take the chance. I'm very happy with the grips and they look great! That being said, I feel the photo used doesn't accurately show what these look like. They have kind of a semi glossy fiberglass feel to them and the grooves have a sort of matte look to them giving it a sort of two tone color, so if your looking for grips that are a uniform shiny black akin to the old bakelite grips, these ain't the ones. Picture a dark glossy black grip with matte black grooves. I want to love them but when I put them on they kind of fight with my mag release button, kind of disappointing. Also worth mentioning they sit pretty flush towards the front of the grip but get chunky and stick out towards the back, not a deal breaker for me but if you want slim grips and already struggle with the double stack grip, maybe pass on these. Overall very happy with them!
