Bought to wear working outside in Pittsburgh pa building decks. This gaiter is the most comfortable I have ever worn. It's just stiff enough to move and manipulate into place and out of the way. Haven't even needed to use the drawstring to cinch around my head/neck. The material is soft and pretty thick. No irritation. Great buy.
