After reading some of the reviews I was getting worried if it was going to fit. After receiving it, however, it's a good holster. The backing looks like a vented leather or leatherette, which makes the holster comfortable. The angle can be adjusted with the belt clips )even comes with an allen wrench). It fits the APX a1 properly. It looks like it will also accommodate the pistol with a red dot also. When the holster is off it may hit the red dot but on the body will work fine. My only complaint, if any, is there isn't any type of safety retention. A small magnet in the back would suffice. The holster is snug, but could be a little better. I'm overall very happy with the holster. It's Beretta made for the full size frame or compact Gen 1.. It's going to work. Will not fit a Carry. But if you have a full size APX a1 with a red dot have zero worries.
APX Centurion Holster
My APX Centurion inserts fine into the holster. It is a struggle to draw the gun from the holster. It appears the front site is getting caught or possibly the holster isn't wide enough for the barrel. It appears that one other reviewer had the same problem. Nice quality, but quality is useless if it doesn't perform as needed.
