Laboratory tests have shown two distinct peaks in recoil. The explosion of the ammunition is the first the impact of the bolt against the receiver is the second. Kick-Off 3 is a third hydraulic damper that cushions this stress on the mechanical components and further reduces recoil by an additional 10% for a total recoil reduction of 70%.

Bought the A400 Xplor KO 20GA last year after dove season. I'll be 70 my next birthday & wanted to move down to a 20GA for more comfort. I do own other 20GA guns but this thing is incredible. Recoil is extremely minimal, less than half of my other 20's which makes doubles easier, it's lightning fast, and it shoots exactly where you point it. This little shotgun is a pleasure to shoot. Every thanksgiving we have a family skeet shooting contest. I used this little A400. I haven't won the contest in a number of years but that changed. It's hard to beat you when you shoot perfect, & against 12 gauges. My two sons shoot Benelli M2's. They both want one of these. I may have to get them one so I will be able to use mine.
