Compensator specially designed for APX series pistols equipped with threaded barrel, equipped with side and upper vents to reduce the recoil of the pistol during firing by deflecting gasses.
This compensator profile is specifically designed to follow the slide profile of the pistol to ensure a smooth sillhouette and look.
Installation steps are as follows:
Remove the thread cap from barrel
Screw the compensator onto the barrel and tighten to ensure correct alignment with the slide and guide rod
Tighten the lateral positioning set screws
Content: Compensator for threaded barrels APX Series.
Purchased alongside the threaded barrel, (which does fit and operate well, alone) however when paired with the ""flat recoil spring"" and the 21rd mag, the unit cannot cycle and eject anything properly - not once. Very displeased. Would not recommend for the APX unless you have something stronger than +p
Not made for new APX-A1
When the top of the muzzle break meets the barrel of the APX-A1 there is still a big gap in the bottom. I think this was designed for the old APX . This also did not fit the Beretta APX threaded barrel, after 2 hours of forcing it on I was left with a pile of aluminum shavings, I should have thread tapped this first but didn't have the correct size. I've never bought anything from Beretta that didn't require modifications in a metal shop.
