Compensator specifically designed for 92 series pistols equipped with threaded barrel, it has side and upper vents to stabilize the weapon during firing by deflecting the gases. The design of the article can be deleted completely and replaced with - The profile of the compensator matches the traditional 90 series slide profile (Not Brigadier).
Installation:
Very easy to install, requires no tools. The necessary steps are as follows:
Clear/Chamber Check the Pistol
Field Strip the Pistol
Remove thread protector from barrel
Screw the compensator on the barrel, ATTENTION tighten the comp, then back off until it is square on the slide profile.
Place the new, longer spring guide rod, using your existing recoil spring, onto the barrel. Insert the front end into the hole in the compensator.
New recoil spring not included.

I purchased this brake and a factory threaded barrel during the 25% off sale. Installation on my 92FS was straightforward, took about 2 minutes. Took it to the range today, and it worked flawlessly. Muzzle flip was noticeably reduced, and it was much easier to track the front sight and get lined up for rapid follow up shots.
