Manufactured from black coated steel, this match slide stop is for the Beretta 92 Series of pistol platforms chambered in 9mm. This oversize hold open lever is perfect for competitions and has a 7mm protruding and inclined lever. This piece works great as an immediate replacement component or as an upgrade for the next big competition.
Nice addition to a Beretta 92. I have added to my 92FS Vertec and my 92X (non-performance). Excellent reference point for your strong hand thumb. NOTE: You do need to modify the left side grip to clear this angled ledge/rest. Its quite easy with a dremel style tool (obviously remove the grip first. :) )
Good upgrade
I like this slide stop. I really gives you a much better ability to operate the pistol. I installed this alongside the extended mag release and the Xtreme S trigger group. FYI, You will have to modify your left side grip for this to work properly. Plan on taking around a half hour getting friendly with a file to get this piece to sit down and not interfere with the slide. The grip modification is really not hard though, just take your time and your left side grip will look like it came from the factory like that.
