The United States Marine Corps came to Beretta and asked for a modifi cation to their M9 pistols.
They wanted an accessory rail to attach tactical lighting devices and laser aiming devices as they head into the darkest corners of the world. In 2006, the M9A1 was born.
The M9A1 sports aggressive checkering on the frontstrap and backstrap, a mil-spec picatinny rail, and specially designed, PVD coated, sand resistant magazines.
